Privacy notice
This notice explains the limited information used to operate, secure, and—when configured—monetize the Scholar Info website and mobile apps.
Information processed
Web servers may process IP addresses, request paths, browser information, timestamps, and security identifiers to deliver pages, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and diagnose errors. The public catalog does not require an account.
Mobile notifications and device integrity
If you enable mobile alerts, Scholar Info processes a random installation identifier, a Firebase Cloud Messaging registration identifier, your platform, and your selected country and category preferences. Firebase App Check may process device-attestation signals through Play Integrity, App Attest, or DeviceCheck to protect the registration service. Notification installations expire after 90 days without activity and are deleted when alerts are disabled. Messaging identifiers are never written to application logs.
Administration
The protected administration area uses a secure, HttpOnly session cookie after a valid access key is presented. The access key is not stored in browser-readable storage.
Advertising
The website may use Google AdSense. The mobile apps may use Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform consent flow. Google and its partners may use cookies, device information, or similar technologies subject to your consent and privacy choices. The mobile app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or IDFA access.
