How to Apply
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must complete the following steps:
- Apply for admission to Stony Brook University by the early application deadline of November 1, 2026.
- Access the StartSBU portal using the login details sent following your admission application.
- Submit the #YouAreWelcomeHere Application via the StartSBU portal by February 12, 2027, including a link to a two-to-five minute video submission.
- Transcripts and English proficiency scores provided with your original admission paperwork will also be utilized during the review.
