YEDx 2026 Applications Open: Host a Youth Environmental Dialogue with UNEP’s Children and Youth Major Group (CYMG)
Youth organizations and environmental groups worldwide can apply to host a Youth Environmental Dialogue (YEDx) in partnership with UNEP’s Children and Youth Major Group. Selected hosts receive mentorship, toolkits, and ongoing support to bridge grassroots action with international environmental governance.

Overview
The YEDx 2026 initiative offers youth-focused and environmental organizations around the world the opportunity to host locally led Youth Environmental Dialogues. Organizers bridge international environmental policy discussions with grassroots youth action, receiving mentorship, guidance, planning toolkits, and ongoing support from the Children and Youth Major Group to the United Nations Environment Programme (CYMG).

Eligibility
CYMG welcomes applications from eligible organizations and groups that are committed to youth engagement and sustainability. Eligible entities include:
- Youth-led and youth-serving organizations
- Environmental and climate organizations
- Community-based organizations
- Student organizations, university groups, and academic institutions
- Other institutions working with young people and sustainability
Applicants must either be affiliated with a legally registered eligible organization or partner with a registered organization capable of supporting the event.
