WTPO Awards 2027: Global Trade Promotion Organizations Invited to Showcase Excellence in Export Development, Technology and Sustainable Trade
The WTPO Awards 2027 invite Trade Promotion Organizations worldwide to showcase innovative initiatives that strengthen exports, enhance SME competitiveness, and drive sustainable economic development through the International Trade Centre.

Overview
The WTPO Awards 2027 recognize outstanding Trade Promotion Organizations (TPOs) that demonstrate excellence in developing and implementing initiatives designed to strengthen international trade. Organized through the International Trade Centre (ITC), the program provides participating organizations with opportunities to gain international recognition, demonstrate measurable impact, exchange good practices, and connect with global trade leaders.
The 2027 edition features three primary award categories:
- Best Use of Partnerships: Recognizes initiatives that effectively use collaborative networks to increase export development impact.
- Best Use of Technology: Highlights innovative digital solutions improving productivity, client engagement, and exporter support.
- Best Initiative for Inclusive and Sustainable Trade: Rewards programs advancing inclusive growth, sustainable trade, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Additionally, the 2027 programme introduces the separate TPO Trailblazer Award, which honors organizations implementing concrete changes aligned with their TPO Roadmaps for Excellence.

Participation is designed specifically for Trade Promotion Organizations (TPOs) rather than individual applicants. Organizations may apply for the main award categories and independently apply for the TPO Trailblazer Award without affecting their eligibility for either.
