The Western Balkans Fund MOVE Grants 7th Open Call provides financial support for short-term regional mobility, academic and scientific exchange, cultural cooperation, professional development, and sustainable development initiatives. The programme aims to strengthen people-to-people connections and regional cooperation by enabling individuals to travel beyond their country or place of residence to participate in meaningful learning, collaboration, and exchange opportunities.
Successful applicants can request grants ranging from €500 to €3,000, with the Western Balkans Fund covering up to 100% of eligible costs associated with an approved mobility activity. The initiative is particularly relevant for artists, cultural professionals, researchers, scholars, journalists, youth workers, civil society activists, students, and other changemakers.

Eligibility
- Must be at least 18 years old on the application deadline.
- Must be both a citizen and resident of one of the six Western Balkans Contracting Parties (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, or Serbia).
- Must be an established professional, employed or affiliated with a legal public or non-public organisation, or enrolled as a student.
- Must have no criminal record and be capable of communicating and reporting in English.
- Must establish a formal partnership with a host institution in another Western Balkans Contracting Party backed by verifiable evidence such as an official invitation letter.
How to Apply
Applications must be completed in English and submitted electronically through the Western Balkans Fund’s Online Grant Management System (OGMS). A complete application must include the application form, budget, signed applicant declaration, and formal evidence of the proposed mobility.

The deadline for submitting applications is 5 October 2026 at 12:59 CET.
