The UNU-WIDER Visiting PhD Fellowship Programme provides registered doctoral candidates with an opportunity to enhance their research quality and engage with top-tier development economics experts. Fellows typically spend three consecutive months at UNU-WIDER to advance their dissertation, prepare one or more research papers, present a seminar on their findings, and potentially publish their work in the WIDER Working Paper Series.

Eligibility

- Priority is given to early-career researchers, female researchers, individuals from developing countries, and PhD candidates in the later stages of their studies
