The UNU Bonn Scholarship supports the Joint Master of Science in Geography of Environmental Risks and Human Security. Offered jointly by the United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security and the Department of Geography at the University of Bonn, the curriculum blends advanced academic study with practical training in climate change, environmental risks, disaster management, and human security.

Eligibility
- Must be a national from an eligible developing or emerging country
- Hold an appropriate bachelor's degree with strong academic results, typically within the upper third of the graduating group
- Possess at least two years of relevant professional experience gained after completing the bachelor's degree and completed by the deadline
- Most recent academic degree obtained no more than six years prior to the application deadline
- Intend to pursue a practitioner-oriented career in development rather than academic preparation or a PhD
- Normally not have resided in Germany for more than 15 months by the application deadline
