The University of Cambridge Biosciences Doctoral Training Programme (DTP) PhD Programme provides structured doctoral training for graduates seeking advanced research expertise in biological sciences. Supported by BBSRC Doctoral Landscape Awards, the programme expects to offer approximately 25 fully funded studentships for the 2027 intake. Candidates can select up to two projects across two main pathways:
- Targeted Studentships: Involves choosing projects from an advertised list, completing two research rotations, and undertaking a three-month professional internship.
- iCASE Studentships: Involves pursuing a project connected to an industrial partner, including a minimum three-month internship with that partner.
