Overview
The UNICEF Technical Report Writing Consultancy 2026 provides a remote opportunity to support global gender equality reporting. Administratively based at UNICEF's New York Headquarters (NYHQ) within the Gender Equality Section of the Global Programme Division, the assignment runs for 8.5 months with no travel required. The consultant will help draft and compile major institutional reporting products, including the UN System-Wide Action Plan report, the Annual Report on progress on the Gender Equality Action Plan, and the Global Annual Results Report.

Eligibility
- Hold a Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, International Relations, International Affairs, Public Policy, or Communications.
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in technical and report writing, with specific experience producing reports on gender-related issues (experience in gender and health or gender and education is a strong asset).
- Prior experience working within an international agency, United Nations organization, or other international institution is preferred.
- Full fluency in English is mandatory; working knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage.
