Overview
The UNFPA Internship Programme 2026 provides practical exposure to strategic partnership development, donor intelligence, resource mobilization, and corporate engagement. Based at UNFPA Headquarters in New York, USA, the selected intern will support the Corporations and Businesses and Foundations and Philanthropy teams within the Private Sector and Civil Society Branch (PSCSB). The role runs for 24 weeks on a full-time, in-person basis under the direct supervision of a Strategic Partnership Specialist.

Eligibility
- Be enrolled in a first university degree programme and have completed at least one full academic year, be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme, have recently graduated within the past year, or be enrolled in a postgraduate professional trainee programme.
- Possess an educational background in Social Sciences, Public Administration, International Relations, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrate written and spoken proficiency in at least one United Nations working language (such as English or French) and fluency in the official language of the local office.
- Show strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills suitable for a diverse, multicultural environment.
