UN Women HeForShe Barbershop Facilitator Consultant Roster: Remote Consultancy Opportunity for Gender Equality Experts
UN Women is establishing a pre-vetted consultant roster for qualified professionals to support the delivery and local adaptation of the HeForShe Barbershop Toolkit.

Overview
The UN Women HeForShe Barbershop Facilitator Consultant Roster aims to create a pool of qualified and pre-vetted experts who can support the delivery and contextual adaptation of the HeForShe Barbershop Toolkit. This participatory programme is designed to engage men and boys in discussions around gender equality, equitable masculinities, and social norm change using a Transforming Patriarchal Masculinities approach. The consultancy is primarily home-based and remote, though selected consultants may occasionally be required to undertake short-term in-person facilitation assignments or field missions.
Inclusion in the roster does not guarantee immediate employment or a set volume of assignments. Instead, successful candidates join a pre-vetted pool that UN Women and its partners can draw upon based on programme demands, resource availability, and specific regional needs.

- Facilitation Background: Demonstrated experience facilitating trainings, workshops, or dialogue-based programmes related to gender equality, male allyship, and equitable masculinities.
- Language: Fluency in written and spoken English is required; knowledge of an additional language is highly desirable.
