Overview
The University of California, Berkeley, through the Haas School of Business and its Center for Social Sector Leadership (CSL), is offering a full-time Philanthropy Fellow position with the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. Based in Los Altos, California, with a hybrid work schedule, the role engages emerging leaders in strategic philanthropy, civil society, nonprofit management, grantmaking, and social impact.
The successful candidate will join a cohort of fellows across various foundation initiatives and receive institutional support, professional coaching, mentorship, and a dedicated professional development budget from UC Berkeley.

Eligibility
- At least two to three years of experience and/or graduate-level education in a related field.
- At least two years of full-time professional work experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience and training.
- Demonstrated experience working in civil society organizations, alongside strong strategic thinking, research, and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in knowledge management, clear written and oral communication, teamwork, project management, and the ethical use of artificial intelligence.
