Overview

The Trustworthy Generative AI in Healthcare Scholarship 2027 provides a fully funded PhD studentship at King’s College London. Hosted within the Centre for Oral, Clinical & Translational Sciences in the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences, the research focuses on trustworthy generative AI, multimodal large language models, uncertainty-aware artificial intelligence, and 3D medical imaging for clinical environments.

Eligibility

  • Open to both UK (Home) and international (Overseas) applicants.
  • Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Requires a First Class or good Upper Second Class Honours degree, or an equivalent overseas qualification.
  • Demonstrated prior research experience and publication records in machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or uncertainty quantification.
  • Desirable backgrounds include training or fine-tuning large language models, vision-language models, or diffusion models, alongside experience handling large-scale datasets.
