Team4Tech Experience AI Cohort 2026 | Free AI Education Training for NGOs in Africa
Team4Tech invites education-focused nonprofits and NGOs in Africa to apply for the Experience AI Cohort, a free three-month training programme on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Selected organizations receive research-based resources, live virtual sessions, coaching, and an implementation stipend.
Overview
The Team4Tech Experience AI Cohort 2026 is a free, structured learning initiative designed to help nonprofit staff and teachers build practical knowledge and confidence in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and Google DeepMind, the programme runs from September through early December 2026. Up to 10 NGOs operating in Africa will be selected to participate in live virtual sessions, self-paced learning, coaching, and peer-learning activities.

Eligibility
- Open to education nonprofits and NGOs operating in Africa.
- Organizations must nominate 2 to 4 staff members who can commit approximately 15 to 20 total hours over three months.
- Participants must be comfortable completing coursework and coaching sessions in English.
- Organizations should be prepared to complete asynchronous learning, attend six live virtual sessions, finish pre- and post-cohort surveys, complete a follow-up survey after 4 to 6 months, and develop an implementation plan.
