The Systems Neuroscience Fellowship 2026 provides a four-year postdoctoral research opportunity at the Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience, located within the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. The selected fellow will investigate neuronal subtypes of memory by employing novel genetic tools, imaging, and electrophysiology techniques in behaving animals to examine circuit mechanisms in the entorhinal-hippocampal loop.

Eligibility
- Must hold a doctoral degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the position.
- Demonstrated experience in recording neural activity from behaving animals using electrophysiology or imaging methods.
- A proven track record of scientific research through peer-reviewed publications.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Desirable qualifications include background in behavioral analysis, memory research, programming skills (such as Python or MATLAB), and an ability to obtain external funding.
