SUSTAIN Seminar 2026 in Slovakia: Fully Supported Rural Youth Leadership and Policy-Making Opportunity for Young Europeans
The SUSTAIN Seminar 2026 is an international learning event in Hokovce, Slovakia, designed to strengthen rural youth organisations and increase youth participation in policy-making across Europe.

Overview
The SUSTAIN Seminar 2026 brings together 25 young participants from across Europe for peer learning, organisational development, policy engagement, networking, and practical planning. Taking place from 8 to 13 November 2026 in Hokovce, Slovakia, the programme addresses challenges such as sustainable financing, leadership, volunteer engagement, and policy participation. The initiative is part of the Rural Youth Forward project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, and is organised by Rural Youth Europe and the Rural Youth Parliament in Slovakia.
Eligibility
- Aged between 18 and 30 years old at the time of the seminar.
- Active connection to rural communities and rural youth development, such as being a member of a rural youth organisation, young farmer, youth worker, youth leader, or community initiative participant.
- Ability to participate fully in the entire programme from 8 to 13 November 2026.
- Proficiency in communicating and participating actively in English.
