SpaceX Intern Program 2026: Paid Internship Opportunities in Engineering, Software, and Business Operations
The SpaceX Intern Program offers university and graduate students paid, hands-on experience across engineering, software, and business operations. The year-round program operates in multiple U.S. locations during the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons.

Overview
The SpaceX Intern Program provides university students and graduate students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to real projects in the aerospace and space technology industry. Opportunities are available across a wide range of engineering functions, software roles, and business operations, allowing interns to work alongside SpaceX employees on challenging projects. The program operates year-round across three main seasons: Spring (January to April), Summer (May to August), and Fall (September to December). Interns and graduate engineers must be available to work full-time for a minimum of 12 weeks. SpaceX internships are paid, and positions can potentially count toward university course credit at the discretion of the student's institution.
Benefits
- Gain practical, hands-on professional experience working alongside full-time SpaceX employees on real projects.
- Receive financial compensation through paid internships and graduate engineer positions.
- Potential to apply internship work toward university course credit, subject to academic institution discretion.
