School for Advanced Research Resident Scholars Fellowships
The School for Advanced Research (SAR) provides residential fellowships in Santa Fe, New Mexico, for scholars in the humanities and social sciences to complete major scholarly projects.

Overview
The School for Advanced Research (SAR) Resident Scholars program offers residential fellowships designed for researchers who have completed substantial portions of their investigations and require dedicated time, space, and an intellectually collaborative environment. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the program supports work across the humanities, social sciences, archaeology, anthropology, history, sociology, and related disciplines. Standard fellowships last for nine months, though faculty applicants may occasionally be considered for 4.5-month terms depending on apartment availability.
Fellows receive financial stipends and campus housing, though separate offices are not currently provided due to ongoing construction. Participants are expected to be physically present at SAR for at least 90 percent of their appointment to engage with the interdisciplinary scholarly community.
