Overview
The Riady Foundation Scholarship is established to support domestic students enrolling in an undergraduate degree at the University of Melbourne who are experiencing disadvantage. Preference is given to applicants intending to pursue the Bachelor of Commerce. Offers are generally extended following the release of Victorian Year 12 ATAR results in December, with subsequent rounds for International Baccalaureate and interstate or overseas Year 12 applicants.
Benefits
Selected scholars receive a living allowance of $6,500 per year across four years, distributed in half-yearly instalments of $3,250. This duration may be extended by an additional year if the recipient undertakes a Diploma of General Studies, a concurrent diploma, a bachelor extended degree, or a bachelor degree with honours.
Eligibility
- Hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or an Australian permanent visa.
- Have finished Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate within Australia.
- Have no prior completed subjects from a tertiary course, excluding extension program subjects.
- Have submitted an application for an undergraduate degree at the University of Melbourne.
- Have completed a VTAC Equity Schemes and scholarships application (formerly SEAS) covering personal information, location, and other relevant categories.
- Meet Access Melbourne entry requirements for the nominated University of Melbourne course.
