Overview

The Stockholm University Postdoctoral Fellowship provides an exceptional research opportunity within the Department of Astronomy. The successful fellow will examine cutting-edge James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) data focusing on the Haro11 galaxy, the nearest Lyman continuum leaker. Research activities involve analyzing integral field spectroscopy and imaging to investigate ionizing photon escape, embedded star clusters, and black hole sources within a vibrant interdisciplinary environment.

Eligibility

  • Candidates must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent relevant degree from an international university.

  • Special attention is directed toward research skills, integral field spectroscopy expertise, and photoionization or nebular modelling experience.
