Overview
The Polish Academy Scholarship supports a fully funded PhD position in biology focused on iron and omega-3 fatty-acid metabolism at the Institute of Genetics and Animal Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poland. Successful candidates join the Doctoral School of Animal and Health Sciences and gain access to preferential doctoral accommodation, research supervision, and practical training in molecular biology, physiology, and bioinformatics.

Eligibility
- Hold a Master’s degree in biology, biotechnology, animal science, or a related discipline, or meet requirements for obtaining the degree under recruitment rules.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of molecular biology and physiology with strong motivation for scientific research.
- Possess sufficient English proficiency for doctoral study, approximately CEFR B2 level.
- Show willingness to conduct laboratory and research work, with good organizational and team working skills.
