The role focuses on supporting Australia’s engagement with major international legal, accountability, and diplomatic institutions based in The Hague, including the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the International Criminal Court (ICC), the Permanent Court of Arbitration, and ongoing international accountability efforts related to flight MH17.
Eligibility
- Must possess a valid legal right to live and work in the Netherlands (no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is provided).
- Must be a national of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
- Individuals holding dual Dutch nationality alongside one of the eligible nationalities are ineligible for the required security clearance.
- Must hold or be able to obtain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance.
- Requires a tertiary qualification in international relations, law, or a related field, or an equivalent level of professional experience.
