Overview
Pitch Perfect Africa 2026 is a virtual competitive pitching opportunity designed to support early-stage entrepreneurs developing innovative solutions to health-related challenges across Africa. The initiative provides selected ventures with an opportunity to present their innovations to expert judges, gain valuable pitching experience, strengthen investment readiness, and compete for financial support.
The 2026 edition selects six H2i Level 2 ventures to participate in the virtual pitch competition. From these finalists, three ventures each receive a CAD $5,000 Innovation Fellowship. The program is implemented by the Health Innovation Hub (H2i) under the Africa Health Collaborative in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.
Benefits
- Pitching Opportunity: Six eligible H2i Level 2 ventures are selected to pitch their innovations to a panel of expert judges.
- Innovation Fellowship: Three of the six finalists are awarded an Innovation Fellowship worth CAD $5,000 each to support the continued development of their ventures.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be a current H2i Level 2 HENT venture onboarded by their lead mentor by August 31, 2026.
- Previous winners of Pitch Perfect Africa are not eligible to apply.
- Past finalists who did not win are welcome to reapply.
- The program is specifically connected to H2i's African venture community for African health innovation ventures within the ecosystem.

Eligible ventures should complete the application form online. Applicants are advised to draft and save their responses in a separate document before final submission to ensure clarity and avoid losing work.
