Overview

The OYW Bursary is a fully funded initiative created to identify, connect, and support a cohort of young South African entrepreneurs. The programme enables participants to join the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, addressing youth unemployment and empowering young people as key drivers of job creation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the time of the Summit (candidates older than 30 may be considered under specific conditions; those under 18 cannot be accepted).
• Must be a national of, and resident in, South Africa.
• Must be leading a business or enterprise with significant job-creation potential.
• Must hold direct decision-making authority within the organisation or company.
• Must be available to participate in the Summit from 3 to 6 November 2026.
