Overview
The NTNU Postdoctoral Scholarship 2026 in Norway is a fully funded, 3-year research position in advanced organoid modelling for Alzheimer’s disease. Based at the Department of Neuromedicine and Movement Science within the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, the successful candidate will work with human induced pluripotent stem cells to generate vascularized 3D cerebral organoids. The fellowship is part of the newly established Norwegian Health Association Centre for Dementia Research.

Eligibility
- Completed doctoral degree in neuroscience, neurobiology, molecular biology, cell biology, or a related field.
- Candidates in the final phase of their doctorate may apply with documentation of thesis submission or a confirmed defense date, provided the degree is obtained before starting.
- Good oral and written presentation skills in English at a B2 level.
- Experience with cell culture work.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with stem cells, organoids, confocal imaging, and standard molecular biology methods.
