Overview
The NTNU PhD Psychology Scholarship is a fully funded doctoral position at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) centered on investigating how attachment develops from childhood into early adulthood. As part of the Trondheim Early Secure Study (TESS), the project utilizes longitudinal data to analyze developmental pathways of attachment and their predictors. Based at the Department of Psychology in Trondheim, the successful candidate will work closely with the TESS research group.

Eligibility
- Professionally relevant educational background in psychology, medicine, or an equivalent field, with documented knowledge in developmental psychology.
- Education corresponding to a five-year Norwegian course, featuring 120 ECTS credits at the master’s level and a master’s thesis of at least 30 ECTS credits.
- Strong academic record with an average grade of B or better based on NTNU’s grading scale, or an equivalent academic basis.
- Competence and experience in quantitative research methods, particularly multivariate methods.
- Very good written and oral proficiency in English.
- Ability to meet admission criteria for the PhD programme in social sciences with a specialization in Psychology.
- Master's students may apply, provided the degree is obtained and documented prior to taking up the role.
