Eligibility
- Academic Stage: Open to master's students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and mid-career researchers.

- Institutional and Geographic Base: Applicants must be both affiliated with and physically based at a university or research centre in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, or Iceland at the time of application and when taking up the award.
- Citizenship: Unrestricted; nationals of any country may apply provided they meet the institutional and location requirements.
- Exclusions: Current or former employees and individuals with prior professional affiliation to the Nordic Africa Institute are ineligible.
