Overview
The NOMIS Senior Fellowship Program 2027 supports distinguished and engaging researchers through a research residency at the Collegium Helveticum in Zurich, Switzerland. Run in partnership with the NOMIS Foundation and in cooperation with ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, and the Zurich University of the Arts, the program enables academics to pursue innovative, cross-disciplinary projects on site and collaborate with local faculty.
Benefits
Recipients undertake a partially funded residency lasting five or ten months during the period of September 1, 2027, to June 30, 2028. Fellows work primarily on site at the Collegium, where their presence contributes to the local academic community and fosters collaboration with supporting institutions.
Eligibility
- Open to distinguished and internationally recognized mid-career and senior researchers.
- Candidates must pursue innovative research that crosses disciplinary boundaries.
- Candidates must be nominated by faculty members from one of the Collegium’s three supporting universities: ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, or the Zurich University of the Arts.
How to Apply
Eligible faculty members from ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, and the Zurich University of the Arts must submit nominations for their colleagues. Detailed information regarding the nomination process can be accessed via the official Collegium Helveticum website.
