The Next Gen Initiative 2026 is a 12-month fellowship by the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development designed to support emerging women leaders. The Next Gen Initiative 2026 is the flagship leadership program launched by the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development (EJS Center). Spanning 12 months, the fellowship prepares promising young women for future leadership roles through mentorship, immersive learning, and hands-on public leadership placements alongside Amujae Leaders.

Eligibility
- Must be a young African woman aged 25 to 35 years old as of October 1, 2026.
- Must hold an undergraduate degree.
- Must possess at least three years of relevant and consistent professional experience in public policy, law, development, gender, health, governance, or a related field.
- Must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries: Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Nigeria, or Sierra Leone.
- Must demonstrate integrity, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to public service and positive community change.
