National Programme for Job-Generating Entrepreneurs 2026: One Young World Opportunity for Young South African Entrepreneurs
Young South African entrepreneurs whose enterprises drive job creation can connect with a global network of young leaders through the One Young World National Programme. Selected participants will also attend the One Young World Summit in Cape Town.

Overview
The National Programme for Job-Generating Entrepreneurs has been established to address youth unemployment in South Africa by supporting young business leaders whose enterprises create sustainable employment. Designed as part of a legacy commitment connected to the One Young World Summit in Cape Town, the initiative empowers entrepreneurs who act as drivers of livelihoods in their communities. Successful participants gain access to an international network of over 20,000 young leaders across more than 190 countries and attend the One Young World Summit in Cape Town from 3–6 November 2026.
Eligibility
- Must be a national and resident of South Africa.
- Standard age requirement is between 18 and 30 years old, though applicants over 30 may be considered based on personal impact, initiative, and engagement.
- Must lead a business or enterprise with demonstrated potential for significant job creation.
- Must hold direct decision-making authority within the organisation.
- Must be available to participate in the One Young World Summit in Cape Town from 3–6 November 2026.
