Overview
The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is a competitive initiative connecting international undergraduate students with Canada's research community. Participants spend 12 weeks between May and October working on research projects across disciplines such as science, engineering, mathematics, humanities, and social sciences at more than 70 host institutions across Canada.

Eligibility
- Must be a full-time undergraduate or combined undergraduate/master's student from an eligible partner institution in a participating country.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have one to three remaining semesters as of Fall 2026.
- Must be available for a 12-week internship in Canada.
- Must apply to a minimum of three and a maximum of ten projects spanning at least three different Canadian provinces.

Applications are submitted online through the Global Student platform. Applicants must prepare the required documents, which include a CV, an official transcript in English or French, a personal statement, a valid passport, research experience details, and at least one reference letter from a supervising professor.
