Overview

The Michael D. Eisner Arts & Culture Fellowship is a two-year leadership experience designed for established arts and culture professionals worldwide who want to use their creative platforms to address wider societal challenges. Bringing together an intergenerational cohort of approximately 20 to 22 leaders for Class 2, the program focuses on reflection, peer exchange, and leadership development across four immersive seminars totaling about 25 days. Participants include artists, performers, writers, producers, curators, executives, financiers, and other cultural professionals who shape the global arts ecosystem.

Benefits

  • Full coverage of seminar tuition, program materials, and lodging supported by the Eisner Foundation.
  • Participation in an international leadership community spanning four multi-day seminars.
  • Lifelong membership in the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN) upon successful completion.

Eligibility

The fellowship is intended for accomplished global leaders who have achieved significant success in their careers and are prepared to expand their influence. Eligible participants represent various sectors within the arts ecosystem, ranging from those who make art to those who create the conditions for art and bring it to the world. Candidates must possess strong leadership experience, vision, and the ability to commit fully to all scheduled seminars.

How to Apply

This is a nomination-based opportunity rather than a self-application program. Interested candidates must identify a third-party nominator who can submit the nomination on their behalf through the official nomination form. Once a nomination is submitted, the nominee receives a confirmation form to accept the nomination and verify their seminar availability. Selected candidates may be invited to an interview.

Deadline

Submissions for Class 2 nominations are accepted through November 3, 2026.
