Melton Foundation 2027 Applications Open: Global Solvers Accelerator and Global Citizenship Learning Program for Young Changemakers
Applications are open for two major Melton Foundation 2027 opportunities: the Global Solvers Accelerator and the Global Citizenship Learning Program, connecting emerging changemakers with a global network.

Overview
The Melton Foundation has opened applications for two distinct 2027 opportunities designed to develop globally minded leaders and strengthen community impact: the Global Solvers Accelerator and the Global Citizenship Learning Program. Both pathways connect emerging leaders with an international network committed to sustainable development and global citizenship, ultimately leading to entry into the Melton Fellowship.
Eligibility
Eligibility criteria vary depending on the chosen program:
- Global Solvers Accelerator: Open to social-impact and community-development practitioners worldwide between 20 and 35 years of age who are already leading or actively involved in an existing community project.
- Global Citizenship Learning Program: Designed for university students aged 18 to 25 currently enrolled at one of the five partner institutions: Ashesi University (Ghana), B.M.S. Group of Institutions (India), Universidad de La Frontera (Chile), Friedrich Schiller University (Germany), and Dillard University (United States). No established project is required.
Benefits
Participants in both programs receive structured virtual training, intercultural dialogue, and pathways to join the Melton Fellowship. Specifically:
- Accelerator participants gain project support, peer mentoring, and an invitation to a fully funded in-person Co-Lab, subject to active engagement.
- Learning Program participants engage in a ten-month free learning experience with opportunities to attend the fully sponsored Global Citizens’ Connect gathering.
How to Apply
Applicants must ensure they meet the specific requirements of their chosen track before submitting their online applications. Prospective candidates can access the Global Solvers Accelerator 2027 application directly via Global Solvers Accelerator 2027 application here, or review the GCLP 2027 Application Guide for university student submissions.
Deadline
Applications for both programs close on 15 November 2026.
