The Massey Doctoral Scholarship is offered by Massey University in New Zealand to support high-achieving students undertaking doctoral research. The award highlights academic excellence and research that aligns with the strategic priorities of the University, College, and School, while also supporting equity of access for Māori and Pacific students.

Eligibility
- Must be enrolled in the first 12 months of doctoral study or hold an offer of place for doctoral study at Massey University.
- Required to have a GPA of 7.0 or higher.
- Research topic must be of strategic value to the University.
- Must agree to all conditions outlined in the scholarship regulations.
- Successful candidates must enrol in their doctoral programme no later than 1 March of the year following the award.
How to Apply
Applicants must prepare a research outline spanning 200 to 1000 words that details disciplinary areas, aims, significance, and theoretical and methodological frameworks. Additionally, candidates must submit a completed Supervisor Support Template filled out by their primary supervisor.
Current Massey students can apply by logging into the student portal and accessing the Scholarships tab. Students who are not currently enrolled must first apply to study at Massey to gain access to the student portal before submitting their scholarship application.
