The Libra Philanthropies 2027 Rising Global Leaders Changemakers Climate Cohort is a nine-month leadership development and experiential learning initiative for emerging climate leaders. It provides fully funded support, mentorship, strategic workshops, and global exposure for small cohort participants.

Overview
The Libra Philanthropies 2027 Rising Global Leaders Changemakers Climate Cohort is a nine-month leadership development and experiential learning programme designed for emerging climate leaders. Operating from January to September 2027, the initiative combines in-person convenings, online sessions, peer learning, strategic workshops, individualized capacity-building, and experiential learning.
The programme features three central thematic pillars:
- Understanding the Climate System: Examining funding, power, institutions, accountability, and decision-making structures.
- Local Adaptation and Community Resilience: Focusing on how climate change affects everyday lives and exploring locally led resilience-building.
- Moving From Participation to Climate Action and Influence: Helping participants build sustained influence and advance climate solutions.
Participants will take part in three in-person gatherings: a kickoff in February 2027, an experiential learning trip in May 2027, and a concluding trip to New York City in September 2027 to attend the Concordia Annual Summit and graduate.
