Overview
The Kenneth Myer Innovation Fellowships are designed to provide exceptional Australian innovators with the financial support, time, and expert guidance needed to scale high-impact social and environmental projects. Rather than funding predetermined outputs, the program allows talented individuals to take a twelve-month sabbatical from their current roles to concentrate fully on expanding their initiatives.
Benefits
- Personal Fellowship Stipend: Up to AUD 140,000 to support full-time dedication to the project throughout the twelve-month period.
- Project Funding: An additional up to AUD 40,000 for approved project-related expenses such as workspaces, professional travel, and external specialists.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents who reside in Australia for most of the Fellowship period.
- Candidates must be willing to take a twelve-month sabbatical from their current employment.
- Eligible projects must be based in Australia, align with priority themes (Inclusion & Equality, Sustainability & Environment, or Human, Civil & Legal Rights), and have been in development for no longer than three years.
How to Apply
Applicants must submit an online Expression of Interest (EOI) through the official portal before the closing date. Shortlisted candidates will later be invited to submit detailed applications and participate in interviews.
