The International Criminal Court (ICC) is inviting applications for the position of Associate Translation Coordination Officer (P-2) within its Language Services Unit, based in The Hague, Netherlands. This established professional role sits inside the Office of the Prosecutor's Integrated Services Division. The selected candidate will support the Translation Officer in coordinating high-quality translation, transcription, and language operations, with a strong emphasis on situation languages.
The appointment is an initial two-year term with a possibility of extension and a six-month probationary period. The recruitment exercise may also establish a roster of suitable candidates for future fixed-term and temporary assistance appointments.

Eligibility
- Nationality: Must be a national of a State Party to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, or a national of a state that has signed the Rome Statute and is engaged in ratification, or is engaged in the accession process.
- Education: Advanced university degree in languages, linguistics, translation, or a relevant related field. Alternatively, a first-level university degree combined with two additional years of qualifying professional experience may be accepted.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in translation, linguistics, or language-service provision (four years if applying with a first-level university degree). Experience using computer-assisted translation (CAT) and machine translation (MT) tools, such as memoQ, is specifically required. Experience in an international organization is considered highly desirable.
- Languages: Proficiency in at least one ICC working language (English or French) is mandatory. Working knowledge of the other working language, additional official languages (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish), or situation-related languages (such as Ukrainian, Burmese, Dari, Pashto, Tagalog, Cebuano, Hebrew, or Swahili) is an asset.
