Heartfulness Essay Event Scholarship 2026 in India

Overview

The Heartfulness Essay Event Scholarship invites young writers to compose and submit original essays responding to the annual theme. Organised by the Heartfulness Education Trust alongside the Shri Ram Chandra Mission, this initiative welcomes submissions in 12 authorised languages with designated word limits. Participants can submit their work entirely online.

Benefits

Participants placing third through tenth in each language and category are awarded mementos and e-certificates.

Eligibility

Open to youth between 14 and 25 years of age.
Students enrolled in participating schools, colleges, or institutions must submit through their registered institution.
Youth not currently enrolled in any institution are welcome to apply as direct participants.
Applicants must choose one of the 12 permitted languages and follow the specific age categories (Category 1 for ages 14–18; Category 2 for ages 19–25).
Only one essay entry is permitted per individual.

Interested applicants must prepare their submission following specific guidelines before uploading:

Complete the participant information sheet in English, scan it as the first page of your document, append your essay following it, and save everything as a single PDF file.
Ensure adherence to word counts (500 words for Category 1; 750 words for Category 2) and file size restrictions (essay PDF under 3MB, age proof under 1MB).
Institutions must register via the official portal to secure submission links, whereas direct participants should use the direct submission portal on the official website.
Upload the final PDF document through the appropriate portal and keep a record of the generated enrolment number.
