Applications are open for the 2027 G. Barrie Landry Child Protection Professional Training programme at Harvard University. This one-week intensive course is designed for experienced mid-career professionals working to protect children from abuse and exploitation.

Overview
The G. Barrie Landry Child Protection Professional Training programme is an intensive, one-week learning opportunity delivered by the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University. Designed for experienced, mid-career professionals, the programme brings together cross-sectoral country teams to address child abuse, violence, exploitation, and neglect. Selected teams will attend the training from June 7 to June 11, 2027, at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

Eligibility
The programme enforces strict team and professional requirements:
- Applications must be submitted by a three-member, cross-sectoral country team; individual applications are not accepted.
- Preferred team composition includes one government representative, one international organisation representative, and one local NGO representative.
- Applicants must be mid-career child protection professionals or work in a closely connected field.
- All three team members must be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Participants must be able to attend the on-site training in Boston in person.

Completed applications must be submitted by December 1, 2026. Admission decisions will be announced during or before the week of January 25, 2027.
