The Hansen Leadership Institute 2027 is a fully funded three-week summer exchange program hosted at the University of San Diego, California, scheduled to run from June 29th to July 20th. Sponsored by the Fred J. Hansen Foundation, the initiative brings together international students and U.S. citizens to focus on international cooperation, leadership development, and peacebuilding through classroom instruction, practical workshops, and field trips.

Eligibility
General Requirements:
- Open to undergraduate and graduate students
- Applicants must be between 20 and 25 years of age at the start of the program
- Must demonstrate leadership activities or skills
- GPA is not part of the selection criteria
International Applicants (Non-US):
- Undergraduates who have completed two years of higher education, or graduate students with a professional interest in international relations, diplomacy, international economic development, or related fields
- Must hold a valid international passport
- Must provide a letter of recommendation from an academic advisor
- Preference is given to individuals who have never visited the United States
U.S. Students:
- Enrolled at any university in the United States
- Undergraduates with two years of college or university experience, or graduate students in related professional fields
