Global Korea Scholarship 2027 for Undergraduates (Fully Funded)
Applications are open for the fully funded Global Korea Scholarship 2027 for undergraduate and associate degree studies in South Korea. Citizens of GKS partner countries can apply through either the embassy or university track.

Overview
The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS-U) provides fully funded opportunities in South Korea for approximately 256 new students to pursue bachelor’s or associate degrees. Sponsored by the Korean Government, the program accommodates international students without requiring an IELTS score.

Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of a Global Korea Scholarship partner country
- Must not already hold a bachelor’s degree
- Must meet specified academic score thresholds (such as a CGPA above 2.64 out of 4.0 or an 80% or higher score percentile)
- Must be under 25 years of age
- Must be in good health and have no criminal record
How to Apply
Candidates can apply using one of two methods:
- Embassy Track: Submit the application through the Korean Embassy in the applicant's home country.
- University Track: Apply directly to a designated participating university according to its specific schedule.
Applicants must prepare required documents including application forms, personal statements, study plans, letters of recommendation, academic transcripts, and medical assessments.
Deadline
Deadlines vary by track, with the Embassy Track deadline set for 30th September 2026 and the University Track taking place in November 2026 according to individual university schedules.
