The Global Futures Scholarship 2027 is a merit-based awards programme offered by The University of Manchester for international students starting their studies in September 2027. The scheme provides more than 350 awards distributed as discounts on published overseas or international tuition fees, with options available for undergraduate and master’s level studies.
Benefits
- Undergraduate awards provide £12,000 for the first year of study, with an additional £12,000 in both the second and third years, contingent on maintaining a 60% attainment in annual exams and assessments.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be international fee-paying students domiciled in eligible regions including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, having predominantly lived there for the last three years.
- Candidates must be self-funded and not sponsored, applying for full-time on-campus courses delivered at the UK campus.
- Undergraduate applicants need direct first-year entry in 2027, holding or working toward qualifications like Indian Standard XII, A-levels, or the IB Diploma, and must select Manchester as their firm UCAS choice by 15 May 2027.
- Master’s applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time on-campus master’s course starting in September 2027 by 25 April 2027.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates must first apply for an academic course and receive an offer before accessing the application process. The online scholarship application form is automatically emailed to eligible offer-holders from December 2026 onwards. Applicants must complete and submit the online application form by the specified closing date for their study level.
Deadline
Undergraduate scholarship applications must be submitted by 30 March 2027. Master’s scholarship applications must be submitted by 25 April 2027.
