Overview

The Georgetown University Fellowship for the Common Good is a year-long, fully in-person program hosted at Georgetown University's Capitol Campus in Washington, D.C. Launching its inaugural cohort in August 2027, the fellowship is structured for highly experienced professionals who want to direct their expertise toward addressing significant societal challenges. The program combines academic learning, personal reflection, policy engagement, mentorship, and practical action planning.

Throughout the year, participants explore areas such as public health, sustainability, global affairs, education reform, affordable housing, ethics and civic leadership, and racial justice. Fellows also design a customized Purpose Plan to serve as a practical roadmap for real-world impact and engage in intergenerational learning by mentoring Georgetown students.
