Overview
Organised by the Green Earth Action Foundation, the GEAF Ambassador Programme 2027 is a six-month international initiative designed to help individuals convert environmental concepts into practical, community-based action. The programme runs primarily online from early to summer 2027, featuring its major implementation milestone on 4.29 Green Earth Action Day on 29 April 2027. Selected participants will benefit from expert-led training, one-to-one mentorship, project management support, communication resources, access to an international network, and implementation funding for approved local initiatives.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following baseline participation criteria:
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application, with no upper age limit.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental justice and sustainability.
- Possess strong written and spoken communication skills alongside experience in community outreach.
- Be fluent in either English or French, with at least a basic understanding of English required for all participants.
- Be available to dedicate approximately five to ten hours per week throughout the six-month duration.
- Have access to a reliable internet connection to attend mandatory virtual sessions.
- Commit to implementing a local environmental project on 29 April 2027 and completing all monitoring and reporting duties.
