Overview
The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Internship Program provides opportunities for final-stage Master's students to support three Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) teams located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Interns engage in thematic research, policy dialogue, and event organization concerning African Union affairs, migration policy, and national development. The participating offices include the FES African Union Cooperation Office, the FES African Migration Policy Centre (FES AMPC), and the FES Ethiopia National Office.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be in the final stages of a Master's degree program in a relevant discipline such as Political Science, Economics, International Relations, International Law, Journalism, or African Studies.
- Demonstrated interest in political, social, or development matters as well as the thematic focus areas of the FES teams.
- Capability to work independently, show initiative, and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication, research, analytical, and social media skills.
- Proficiency in English, which serves as the office working language.
- Internships usually run for 3 to 4 months, with a maximum duration of 90 days for non-residents due to visa rules.
