Freedom Prize 2027 International Jury: Apply to Join a Global Youth Jury in Normandy, France
The Freedom Prize 2027 International Jury invites young people worldwide aged 15 to 25 to serve on a 24-member international youth jury. Selected members will review nominations and select three finalists representing an outstanding fight for freedom.

Overview
The Freedom Prize 2027 International Jury offers young people from France and around the globe a unique opportunity to become one of 24 international jury members. Selected participants will examine issues surrounding freedom and human rights, exchange perspectives with peers from diverse backgrounds, and participate in formal deliberations in Normandy, France. The program is structured around three main phases:
- The "Our Freedom Prize 2027" call for proposals
- The international jury deliberations
- The international online vote to select the laureate
Selected jury members will meet physically in Normandy from Sunday, February 14 to Saturday, February 20, 2027, with formal deliberations scheduled for February 15–19, 2027. Prior to the physical meeting, members must participate in preparatory video conferences and complete remote preparation work.

Eligibility
- Age: Applicants must be between 15 and 25 years old on February 19, 2027.
- Global Reach: Open to young people from Normandy, other regions of France, and countries around the world.
- Language: Candidates must be able to express themselves orally and in writing in either English or French.
- Background: No specific academic, professional, or prior jury experience is required; emphasis is placed on applicant motivation and profile diversity.
- Restriction: Previous members of the Freedom Prize jury cannot reapply.
- Additional Requirement: Applicants must also complete the "Our Freedom Prize 2027" call for nominations form.
How to Apply
Applicants must complete the online application form, which includes presenting contact details, language preferences, application responses, and an attached resume/CV. Candidates must ensure they are available for the entire February 14–20, 2027 period and remember to complete the required nomination form.

The application must be validated online no later than Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM Paris time, France.
