EvalYouth Asia invites passionate young and emerging evaluators to join its 2026 Core Group as volunteer leaders to strengthen evaluation practice across the Asia-Pacific region. Selected members will contribute approximately 20 hours per month to strategic leadership, regional initiatives, and network development.

Overview
EvalYouth Asia (EYA) has opened applications for its 2026 Core Group, offering a volunteer leadership opportunity for passionate young and emerging evaluators (YEEs). Established in 2019, the regional platform works to enhance youth participation, leadership, networking, and collaboration within the evaluation community across the Asia-Pacific region. Core Group members play an instrumental role in shaping the network's strategic direction, designing professional development initiatives, and fostering partnerships with key evaluation stakeholders such as the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association (APEA).
Eligibility
The opportunity is designed for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Geographic Scope: Open to young and emerging evaluators located across the Asia-Pacific region.
- Passion for Evaluation: A demonstrated interest in evaluation, evidence-informed decision-making, and program improvement.
- Commitment: Ability to dedicate approximately 20 hours per month and participate in regular monthly Core Group meetings.
- Leadership: Willingness to lead or co-lead at least one major EvalYouth Asia workstream or initiative during the term.
- Collaborative Spirit: Comfort working alongside diverse volunteers, development organizations, and regional networks.
