European Commission Opens €16.55 Million Organised Crime Grant Call to Dismantle Criminal Networks and Combat Human Trafficking
The European Commission has launched a €16.55 million call for proposals under the Internal Security Fund to support operational projects combating organised crime, drug trafficking, and human trafficking.

Overview
The European Commission has launched a major €16.55 million call for proposals to support operational projects that combat organised crime, drug trafficking, and trafficking in human beings. Financed through the Internal Security Fund, the initiative strengthens cross-border law-enforcement cooperation, improves financial and criminal investigations, prevents criminal infiltration, and dismantles the structures allowing criminal networks to operate.
The call is administered by the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs and features two separate funding topics:
- ISF-2026-TF2-AG-OCDT: Organised Crime and Drug Trafficking (€14 million total budget)
- ISF-2026-TF2-AG-THB: Trafficking in Human Beings (€2.55 million total budget)
Projects may request an EU contribution between €1 million and €3 million (with a maximum of €2.55 million for human-trafficking proposals), covering up to 90% of eligible costs with a maximum duration of 24 months.
