EU Environment Academy 2026 in Ukraine: Fully Funded Training on EU Environmental Law and Accession
Applications are open for the EU Environment Academy 2026–2027, a fully funded professional training programme designed to strengthen environmental governance and Ukraine’s EU integration.

Overview
The EU Environment Academy 2026–2027 is an intensive professional training programme organised and fully funded by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. Hosted in Ukraine, the programme helps environmental professionals, government officials, civil-society representatives, and selected advanced university students deepen their understanding of European Union accession, environmental legislation, and Chapter 27 of the EU acquis. The training runs from approximately late September 2026 until March 2027, featuring a primarily online delivery format alongside potential in-person study visits or workshops in EU member states such as Poland, Sweden, or Belgium.
Eligibility
- Must be based in Ukraine.
- Work in the environmental field or in a role substantially affected by EU accession, or be an advanced-level university student in a relevant academic discipline.
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Possess a good command of the English language.
- Be able to commit approximately 10 hours per week and secure necessary employer support and technical equipment.
