Overview
The ETH AI Center Fellowship 2027 supports interdisciplinary doctoral research in AI, enabling fellows to propose and conduct projects across AI foundations and applications. Hosted by the ETH AI Center at ETH Zurich, the program brings together faculty from all sixteen departments and external research groups. The position normally runs for three years, with a typical start date in September 2027, and offers primary office space, training activities, and work-life support services.

Eligibility
- Applicants must have completed or expect to complete a Master’s degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, physics, engineering, applied mathematics, or another relevant field at least three months before the program begins (latest by June 2027).
- Must maintain an excellent academic track record and meet general admission requirements for a doctorate at ETH Zurich.
- Must possess sufficient English proficiency to discuss research topics and report findings in writing.
- Must demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
